The Aircast SP Short Pneumatic Walking Boot has a rigid shell that helps to protect the user from any further injuries to their ankle. The base of the Aircast SP Short Pneumatic Walking Boot is wide enough to accommodate a wide variety of dressings, which makes it a near-universal fit. The boot is equipped with three separate air cells that allow the user to inflate them until the desired fit is achieved. Each boot comes with a hand bulb for the user to inflate the air cells. These boots are made to be used on conditions such as foot fractures and post-op recovery.
The Aircast SP Short Pneumatic Walking Boot is a smaller version of the world-renowned Aircast Foam Pneumatic model. The smaller size of the Aircast SP Short Pneumatic Walking Boot allows it to fit better on people who have shorter legs or calve muscles. Although this walking boot is shorter, it still provides the same compression and increased circulation that a larger model has.
Recommended for use with any of the following indications:
- Foot fracture
- Bunionectomy
- Post-operation immobilization
- Soft tissue, tendon, or ligament injury
