Description
The DeRoyal LMB501 spring finger extension splint is a device that helps extend the proximal interphalangeal (PIP) joint of the finger, with a slight extension effect on the metacarpophalangeal (MP) joint. It is used to treat conditions such as finger stiffness, boutonniere deformity, and scar tissue formation around the PIP joint. The splint is made of wire and foam that can be adjusted to fit the finger and provide the desired amount of tension.
The splint is lightweight, comfortable, and easy to apply and remove and comes in several sizes.
