In fact, FiberForm is the most rigid splinting material available anywhere-it boasts the maximum rigidity on the market.
FiberForm Soft offers more "drapability" when heated to its shapeable state than the companion material FiberForm Stiff. As such it is easier to mold to the shape of limbs, and can be stretched to the appropriate shape. It is fingerprint and stain resistant, and will not leave ragged, sharp edges when cut.
Ideal for dynamic splints, FiberForm Material is also excellent for finger, thumb, and wrist splints.
