Marque-Easy Splinting Material is Chesapeake's most moldable, flexible splinting material available, with more "drapability" than any other material. Like rubber, it resists when stretched, and allows the practitioner to work it into any shape with aggressive handling. An additional advantage to Marque-Easy is that it will remain in place while molding and bonds to itself when warm as well. Once set, it is one of the more rigid splinting materials and will not require reinforcement.
Usable for splints on all joints, including knee, hand, ankle, foot, and shoulder (airplane splints). Also suitable for medium to large joints and fracture bracing as well as dynamic outrigger splints.
Like most other splinting materials, Marque-Easy will remain pliable for 3 to 5 minutes after being heated to 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
