The BROM II (Back Range of Motion) Instrument is a highly sophisticated piece of medical diagnostic equipment. There's no need to take preliminary flexion/extension movements with the BROM, because the unit is held securely in place with the Velcro strap. The BROM comes with a standardized protocol that reduces or eliminates the chances of examiner error.
Included in the kit are a number of accessories, including:
- Rotation/Lateral flexion measuring unit
- Flexion/Extension flexion measuring unit
- 2 measuring arms, 1 long measuring arm (thoracic back region) and 1 short measuring arm (lumbar back region)
The inclinometers in the BROM are fluid damped, meaning that you should get quick, accurate results each time, rather than having to wait around for oscillations to diminish.
