The Whitehall E Series Stationary Whirlpool is recommended for treating the ankle and foot area of your patients. The tank, which is made from Type 304 heavy-gauge steel, features seamless welded construction and is polished to a professional satin finish. The rim of the tank is reinforced with a stainless steel rod, which remains completely concealed from view. The bottom of the tank, which is also seamless, features a coved design that works to minimize the accumulation of bacteria on the hydrotherapy equipment.
In addition, the tank also has a stainless steel skirt that extends to the floor to conceal all of the internal drain piping. A 2" combination drain and overflow as well as a filler spout are also included.
The turbine raising and lowering device allows you to adjust the direction and height of the water agitation to accommodate the area of the patient's body that requires treatment. The device is spring balanced and comes with a locking device for added safety.
The turbine assembly works as an emptying device as well as an agitator. It is equipped with a UL listed ½ horsepower jet pump motor, which is protected by an ABS plastic shell as well as lifetime-sealed bearings and an automatic thermal overload protector. All of the parts that come in contact with the water are made from chrome-plated brass, stainless steel, or bronze.
Also included is a thermometer with adjustable calibration, dual scale, and a stem, which inserts into a retainer to eliminate any rattling that may occur during agitation.
