The Whitehall Stationary hydrotherapy whirlpool is great for both deep and shallow body immersion, providing coverage entirely of the lower back, hips and lower extremities.
The tub is constructed of strong stainless steel that is polished to a professional finish. In addition, the rim of the tank is reinforced with a stainless steel rod that remains concealed. The tank is also fitted with an auxiliary drain valve. The bottom of the whirlpool tank is not only seamless, but also features a coved design to reduce the buildup of bacteria.
In addition, an extended stainless steel skirt that is flush with the floor conceals all of the internal drain piping for these hydrotherapy tubs. A filler spout and a 2" combination drain and overflow, are also included.
The turbine raising and lowering device makes it possible to adjust the height and the direction of the water agitation to treat the exact area of the patient's body where necessary most effectively. The device is spring balanced and locks in place.
The turbine assembly works as both a device for emptying the tub as well as an agitator. In addition, a thermometer is also provided with adjustable calibration, a dual scale and a stem, which can be inserted into the retainer in order to prevent noisy operation.
